Ingredients

Salad Ingredients:

  • 6 hearts of romaine lettuce skillfully selected and roughly chopped into bite-sized pieces, offering a crisp and refreshing base for the salad.
  • 3 cups of nish nosh crackers carefully hand-crushed into delightful and crispy pieces, adding a unique and satisfying crunch to the salad.

Salad Dressing Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice thoughtfully extracted from ripe and juicy lemons, adding a bright and citrusy note to the dressing.

Instructions

  • Gather together the freshly chopped romaine lettuce hearts, nish nosh crackers, cherry tomatoes, finely sliced purple cabbage and diced red onion into a large bowl.
  • In a separate small container, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, minced garlic cloves, lemon juice, soy sauce, olive oil and brown sugar to form the dressing.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and give them a gentle mix until everything is evenly coated.

Notes

- If you don't have nish nosh crackers, try substituting them with croutons or tortilla chips.
