Ingredients

  • 4 pcs potatoes (large size)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup Cream
  • Parsley to taste
  • Pepper for seasoning

Instructions

  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly. Place them in a saucepan and cover them with water. Add salt to taste. Boil the potatoes until they are cooked through, then drain the water and peel off the skins.
  • After boiling the potatoes, wait a few minutes for them to cool off before slicing. Once sliced, gently place them in a serving dish.
  • Take the chopped onion with parsley, mayonnaise, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. And mix them gently. Then gradually add cream and vinegar. These two ingredients will soften the mixture. Mix all ingredients together.
  • Pour the mixture over the potatoes. Let it sit for a few minutes to absorb the ingredients. This will allow the flavors to meld together and create an appetizing dish that your family or guests will love.

Notes

– Use starchy potatoes for this dish, such as Russet or Yukon Gold. They will hold their shape better and won’t turn mushy when mixed with the dressing.
– Be careful not to overcook the potatoes. They should be cooked through but still firm enough to slice.
– This potato salad is best served at room temperature or cold. If you plan on serving it later, keep the potatoes and dressing separate until ready to serve.
– Add some color to your dish using red potatoes or chopped red bell pepper.
– Use good quality mayonnaise for the dressing. It should be creamy and not too tangy.
