Equipment

  • One Large Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup ranch salad dressing infusing the salad with a tangy and savory taste, adding a zesty and herbaceous flavor that complements the other ingredients
  • 1.5 pounds Imitation crab meat cut up, providing a seafood-like texture and flavor to the salad, adding a meaty and succulent component without using real crab meat
  • 1/4 cup of heavy mayonnaise creating a rich and creamy dressing for the salad, adding a velvety texture and a luxurious mouthfeel
  • 1/2 cup green onion chopped, contributing a mild onion flavor to the salad, adding a subtle bite and a touch of vibrant color
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper chopped, offering a crisp and slightly sweet taste to the salad, adding a refreshing and colorful element
  • 1/2 cup celery chopped, adding a refreshing and crunchy texture to the salad, providing a burst of freshness and a mild vegetal flavor

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients and combine them together with care.
  • Let it cool in the refrigerator for at least sixty minutes to let the flavors infuse.
  • Present this dish chilled atop a cushion of lettuce or inside a wrap.

Notes

  • Use a full-fat, high-quality mayo for the greatest taste and texture and mince your red onion very finely.
  • You can also add chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley or dill) or fresh lemon wedges as garnish. A splash of fresh lemon juice adds a great touch as well.
