As we all know, Lasagna is one of the most popular Italian dishes. It is definitely a dish that everybody loves! What if I tell you that there is a way to make it even more delicious and easier to prepare? Well, the Skinner Lasagna recipe is just what you need!

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces of uncooked Lasagna noodles
  • 15 ounces of ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped Parsley
  • 2 eggs at room temperature
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 jar thick spaghetti sauce
  • 12 ounces mozzarella cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Cook Lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, eggs, ground beef, and pepper until well combined.
  • Spread 1/2 cup of the spaghetti sauce in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Place half of the lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the cheese-meat mixture, then sprinkle with 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat layering again with the remaining ingredients ending with Mozzarella cheese. Pour the water over the lasagna and cover it with foil.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

• To make it even more delicious, you can add some chopped vegetables or herbs such as bell peppers, onion, garlic, oregano, etc.
• If you want your lasagna to be extra cheesy, add more mozzarella cheese.
• To make it even more flavorful and delicious, you can sprinkle some crushed red pepper over the top of the lasagna just before baking.
