Payday shots are very popular drink people usually enjoy for different occasions. It is a variation of the classic shot, made with butterscotch liqueur, caramel-flavored vodka, and peanut butter whiskey.

Ingredients

  • 1- ounce butterscotch liqueur
  • finely crushed salted peanuts for garnish
  • 1- ounce caramel-flavored vodka
  • peanut caramel candy bar for garnish
  • 1- ounce peanut butter whiskey
  • chilled caramel topping for garnish

Instructions

  • Add the butterscotch liqueur, caramel vodka, and peanut butter whiskey to a shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake until well combined and chilled.
  • Rim a shot glass with finely crushed salted peanuts.
  • Strain the mixture into the shot glass and top with a drizzle of chilled caramel topping.
  • Garnish with a small piece of a peanut caramel candy bar and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you don’t have all three liqueurs, feel free to use what you do have on hand. Just make sure the ratios are correct for each ingredient.
  • If you don’t have a shaker, use a mason jar or any other container with a tight-fitting lid.
  • You can use any type of two-caramel candy bar for garnish, such as Snickers or Twix.
  • If you want to make the Payday Shot even more indulgent, you can use cream liqueur instead of butterscotch or caramel vodka.
  • You can also add a few drops of chocolate syrup for an extra hint of sweetness.
