If you’re a fan of Costco’s orange chicken, then this homemade version is sure to hit the spot. From their famous rotisserie chickens to fresh produce to signature sauces, Costco has become a go-to spot for shoppers all over the United States.
Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the fully cooked Costco chicken pieces on the parchment paper, then generously cover them with Costco Orange sauce. Bake for 18-20 minutes until the sauce is bubbly and the chicken is hot all the way through.
While your chicken bakes, prepare your vegetables by heating some oil in a separate pan over medium heat. Add the veggies of your choice, and cook for 8-10 minutes until they are tender and lightly browned.
Once everything is cooked, assemble the dish by adding the chicken to the veggie mixture. Serve hot with rice or any side you desire.
Notes
If you don’t have access to a Costco, you can always substitute the frozen chicken with uncooked chicken breasts and cook them according to package instructions.
For a super quick version of this dish, try microwaving the chicken instead of baking it.
Be sure to adjust the cooking time according to your oven and the ingredients used.
For an extra bit of flavor, try adding a teaspoon of grated ginger or garlic to the orange sauce.
Feel free to add more vegetables to the dish for added nutrition and variety.
Serve with steamed white or brown rice for a complete meal.
