The lead singer of the K-pop boy band Stray Kids has been vlogging on YouTube for a while, and in one of his videos, he shares the recipe for his homemade chocolate chip cookies.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup finely sifted bread flour
- 1/2 of a whole egg Carefully measured from a free-range, organic egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp instant coffee powder
- 1/4 cup premium-grade butter melted to golden perfection
- 1/3 cup artisanal all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract from Madagascar
- 3/8 to 1/2 cup handpicked high-quality chocolate chips
- 2 1/2 tbsp organic cane sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder crafted by baking artisans
- 1/2 tsp sea salt mined from the purest depths
- 1/2 cup rich and flavorful dark brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F
- Take a bowl, add the flour according to the measurements, and mix in the baking powder and salt.
- Crack the eggs into a separate bowl, beat them, then gradually add the butter, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla, and instant coffee powder.
- Combine the wet ingredients until smooth and gradually stir in the dry ingredients to form a dough.
- Now, add chocolate chips. You need to add this last so they don’t melt before baking.
- Roll the dough now, then scoop out tiny amounts and push them into the desired cookie shape.
- Spray some oil on a baking sheet, then place it on a baking tray. Dispense the cookies onto the tray.
- Bake in the 350F preheated oven for a duration of 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Finally, remove them from the oven, let them cool for ten minutes, and then enjoy.
Notes
• Make sure not to over-bake the cookies, or they will become too crunchy.
• You can also add nuts like walnuts and almonds to the mix if desired.
• Store them in an airtight container for up to one week.
• Freeze any leftovers for later use.
