For the Sliders:

  • 8-12 large chicken breasts skinless
  • 12 slices of Münster cheese halved
  • 24-48 Kings Hawaiian Buns

Jerk Marinade:

  • 2 tbsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 orange scotch bonnet peppers
  • 4 tbsp lime juice
  • 6 green onions
  • 2 tbsp dried thyme
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups onions
  • 3 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 4 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups white wine vinegar
  • 1 cup mandarin oranges
  • 3 tsp ground sage

Slider Topping:


  • Combine all jerk marinade ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Pour the marinade over chicken breasts in a shallow dish. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  • Grill chicken over medium heat for about 8 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  • Let the grilled chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice it.
  • While the chicken grills, mix slider topping ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Spread melted butter on slider buns and toast them on a preheated grill for 1-2 minutes per side until golden.
  • Assemble sliders with Dijon mustard, Muenster cheese, jerk chicken, and the prepared topping.
  • Serve the sliders immediately to savor the flavors.


  • If you don’t have Scotch bonnet peppers, you can substitute them with habanero peppers or jalapenos.
  • Be careful when handling the peppers; they are very spicy and may irritate your skin. Wear gloves if desired.
  • You can serve the sliders with a variety of condiments like coleslaw, pickles, or a zesty aioli.
