  • 1/3 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce adding a savory and umami-rich note to your sauce, enhancing the depth of flavor and providing a subtle tanginess that complements the spiciness.
  • 3/4 cup Red Hot Buffalo Wing sauce a tangy and robust sauce known for its signature combination of heat and tang, delivering a mouthwatering and addictive flavor that coats your chicken wings with a fiery and savory glaze.
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch serving as a thickening agent that helps create a smooth and velvety texture in your sauce, ensuring it clings to the wings perfectly and provides a luscious coating.
  • Avocado oil or canola oil serving as the frying medium for your chicken wings, providing a high smoke point and a neutral flavor that allows the wings to achieve a crispy and golden-brown exterior.
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder infusing your chicken wings with a fragrant and aromatic note of garlic, adding depth and complexity to the overall flavor profile.
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons water used in conjunction with cornstarch to create a slurry that thickens the sauce, resulting in a glossy and sticky consistency that adheres beautifully to the chicken wings.
  • 1 1/2 dozen chicken wings a classic and crowd-pleasing choice for a delicious appetizer or main course, offering juicy and tender meat that pairs perfectly with the bold flavors of the Buffalo Wing sauce.
  • 1 egg yolk acting as a binding agent and providing a creamy and velvety texture to your chicken wing coating, ensuring a crispy and flavorful exterior when cooked.
  • Kosher salt to taste, allowing you to season your chicken wings to perfection, balancing the flavors and adding a touch of saltiness that enhances the overall taste experience.
  • 3/4 teaspoon granulated sugar providing a touch of sweetness that balances the heat and adds depth to the overall flavor profile of your Buffalo Wing sauce.
  • 1/3 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper bringing a fiery and spicy kick to your sauce, infusing it with a bold and zesty flavor that tantalizes the taste buds.

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together 1/2 cup cooking oil, 1 1/2 cup Red Hot Buffalo Wing sauce, 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar, 2/3 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper, 2/3 teaspoon ground black pepper, 3 teaspoons cornstarch, 2/3 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce and 3 teaspoons water.
  • Add the chicken wings to the bowl and coat them evenly with the sauce mixture.
  • Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 egg yolks and season with kosher salt to taste.
  • Heat up some avocado oil or canola oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (177°C).
  • Dip each wing into the egg yolk mixture and then place it into the hot oil for about 5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  • Remove from heat and place onto a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil before serving with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

• Make sure to use avocado oil or canola oil when frying the chicken wings as this will help keep them from sticking to the pan.
• If you want to add a little extra flavor, try adding some garlic powder or onion powder to the buffalo wing sauce mixture.
• For a spicier version of this recipe, use more cayenne pepper or hot sauce in the buffalo wing sauce mixture.
