Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 4 vibrant Yellow Onions finely diced
  • 4 pounds of high-quality Ground Beef
  • 4 crisp Green Bell Peppers finely chopped
  • 2 cans 12 oz. each of Tomato Paste, rich and concentrated
  • 4 Jalapeños finely diced for a spicy twist
  • 2 Poblano Peppers adding a mild kick
  • 8 aromatic Cloves of Garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons of aromatic Cumin
  • 4 cans 29 oz. each of Diced Tomatoes, bursting with freshness
  • 4 cans 30 oz. each of Tomato Sauce, a luscious base
  • 4 tablespoons of carefully selected Chili Powder
  • 1 tablespoon of Garlic Salt enhancing the savory notes
  • 1 tablespoon of Cajun or Creole Seasoning for a hint of spice
  • 1 tablespoon of Smoked Paprika for a touch of smokiness
  • 4 cans 30 oz. each of Ranch Style Beans, adding texture and flavor
  • 4 aromatic Bay Leaves for a subtle herbal undertone
  • 2 cups of pure Water ensuring the perfect consistency

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  • Cook ground beef until it browns, breaking it into small pieces.
  • Add diced onions and cook until they become translucent.
  • Stir in tomato paste, green bell pepper, garlic, poblano pepper, jalapeños, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and spices (cumin, chili powder, garlic salt, smoked paprika, Cajun or Creole seasoning). Mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Incorporate bay leaves and ranch-style beans into the mixture.
  • Pour in enough water to cover all the ingredients.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours) until it reaches your desired consistency.
  • Serve the chili hot with your preferred toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or diced avocado.

Notes

  • Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • For an extra kick of heat, add in more jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • Letting the chili simmer for longer will allow the flavors to develop even more.
  • Experiment with different toppings to find your favorite combinations. Some popular options include diced onions, green onions, or hot sauce.
