Equipment

  • Skillet
  • baking dish

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb lean beef ground
  • 1/2 tbsp spicy Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 8 oz diced crisp bacon cooked
  • 1/2 loaf of sourdough bread
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 4 oz white cheddar shredded
  • 1/2 tsp red chile paste

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until it is no longer pink. Sprinkle in the Montreal Steak Seasoning and stir to incorporate, creating a flavorful base for your dish.
  • Prepare the sourdough loaf by slicing it into cubes while keeping it attached at the bottom for structure. Add a layer of garlicky paste and sprinkle with half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Spread the cooked beef evenly over the cheese layer, followed by a generous sprinkle of crumbled bacon. Top with remaining cheddar and white cheddar cheese, along with freshly ground black pepper for a touch of heat.
  • Bake your Cheeseburger Pull-Apart Bread in the oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and the edges of the bread to crisp up. Serve piping hot and enjoy this delicious twist on a classic burger!

Notes

  • This dish is best served hot, right out of the oven.
  • Feel free to add your own twist by adding different toppings such as diced tomatoes, pickles, or jalapenos.
  • You can also use different types of cheese like pepper jack or mozzarella for a different flavor profile.
