Everyone deserves a little treat every now and then, and what better way to indulge yourself than with a delicious glass of chocolate peanut butter milk? This easy-to-make drink requires just a few simple ingredients and takes no time at all to whip up.
Begin by melting 1/4 cup of chocolate chips in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until it reaches a smooth consistency. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the melted chocolate to cool for approximately 5 minutes before moving on to the next step.
Once the chocolate has cooled slightly, combine it with 2 1/2 cups of milk and 6 teaspoons of creamy peanut butter in a blender. Blend the ingredients together until they are thoroughly mixed, creating a rich and creamy chocolate peanut butter milk. Pour the mixture into glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
For an extra indulgent drink, top the chocolate peanut butter milk with whipped cream or a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
You can use any type of milk for this – whole, low-fat, skim, almond, soy, etc. Adjust the amount according to your preference.
If you want a thicker consistency, add more peanut butter to the mixture.
If you prefer a sweeter drink, you can add some honey or sugar to the mixture before blending.
