Use fresh vegetables whenever possible for maximum flavor.
If you want to add a bit of extra crunch, try adding some chopped nuts.
Try adding some diced bell peppers or cucumbers to add more flavor and nutrition to your salad.
You can also top off this dish with some freshly chopped herbs for even more taste!
Feel free to substitute any of the ingredients with whatever you have on hand, such as different types of lettuce, vegetables, and cheeses.
For a sweeter flavor, try adding some dried fruit or raisins to the salad.
If you’re not a fan of creamy dressings, you can also use vinaigrette instead.
To keep this dish low in calories, opt for light or fat-free dressing options.
To make this salad more substantial, feel free to add some grilled chicken or shrimp on top!
This dish is also great for meal prepping as it can last up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
