Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line and lightly grease a baking sheet with oil.
Put the salmon fillets on the prepared sheet, skin-side down.
Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil on each fillet and evenly rub it in. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme.
Bake for 15 minutes or until salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (62°C).
Remove from the oven, plate the salmon, and serve with your choice of sides.
