Start by boiling water in a pan on the stove.
Once boiled, add freshly grated ginger root and the juice of one lemon to the water.

Strain out the ginger chunks with a sieve.
Transfer the liquid to a mug and add honey (1 tablespoon should do).
Stir it until all the ingredients are incorporated.
Notes
For a stronger flavor, add more ginger or lemon to the infusion.
If you want to adjust the sweetness levels, use either more honey or substitute it with one of your favorite sweeteners for a unique twist.
To make a larger batch of tea, simply double the amount of ingredients used in this recipe.
For an extra zing, garnish your cup of tea with a few slices of lemon and a sprinkle of ground ginger.
For even more health benefits, try adding other ingredients such as turmeric or cinnamon to the infusion.
