Equipment

Ingredients

Sauce

  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounce) golden mushroom soup
  • 1 can (4 1/2 ounce) mushrooms, sliced, undrained
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Sandwich

  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese, sliced (8)

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1⁄2 teaspoon accent seasoning
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon Lawry's seasoned salt
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 4 ounces hamburger buns
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • Mix the sauce ingredients in a medium bowl until blended. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl mix the ground beef, accent seasoning, Lawry's seasoned salt and pepper with your hands until all is combined.
  • Divide the mixture into four patties.
  • Place the patties onto the fry pan or grill. Cook for 7 minutes per side until done.
  • Once the patties are done, add 1/4 of the cheese to each patty. Cover and let it melt for a few minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat butter in a separate pan on medium heat. Add buns and toast until golden brown.
  • To assemble the burgers, put a patty on each buns. Add 1 tablespoon of the hardees mushroom swiss burger sauce. Add extra cheese and top with another bun.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, you can add a few dashes of hot sauce to your mushroom swiss burger sauce.
  • If desired, you can also add on additional toppings such as lettuce and tomato before serving.
  • To make sure the patties are cooked through, use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 160°F.
