Equipment

  • baking dish A baking dish, approximately 9×13 inches in size, to assemble and bake the cobbler.
  • Oven To preheat to 350°F (175°C) for baking the cobbler.
  • Measuring cups For accurately measuring ingredients like fresh blueberries, melted European butter, and finely chopped roasted mixed nuts.
  • Spoon or Spatula : To spread and evenly distribute the sun-ripened peach pie filling in the baking dish.
  • Optional: Mixing Bowl and Whisk or Fork: If mixing the blueberries with the peach pie filling before assembling the cobbler.
  • Optional:  Scoop or Ice Cream Scoop: For easily scooping out portions of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream to serve with the cobbler.

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the Filling: Spread the sun-ripened peach pie filling evenly in the bottom of a baking dish (size approximately 9×13 inches).
  • Add Blueberries (Optional): Scatter the handpicked fresh blueberries over the peach pie filling for an added burst of flavor.
  • Layer the Cake Mix: Evenly sprinkle the golden-hued artisanal cake mix over the peach and blueberry mixture in the baking dish.
  • Drizzle with Melted Butter: Drizzle the premium-quality melted European butter over the cake mix layer, ensuring even coverage.
  • Optional Nutty Topping: If desired, sprinkle the finely chopped roasted mixed nuts over the butter layer for added texture and flavor.
  • Bake in the Oven: Place the assembled cobbler in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 45-50 minutes. The top should turn golden brown, and the filling should be bubbly around the edges.
