Ingredients

  • 12 ounces artisanal cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives meticulously minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon delicate fine sea salt or hand-harvested kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup luscious heavy cream
  • 2 garlic cloves pressed or minced with culinary finesse
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, heavy cream, sea salt, chives, garlic cloves, and black pepper.
  • Next using a mixer, mix everything together until it’s combined. Start off with a low setting then gradually increase the speed until you have a nice, even consistency.
  • Once everything is combined transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with additional chives, if desired. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened before adding it to the bowl. This will make it much easier to mix everything together.
  • If you don’t have a handheld mixer, you can use a whisk or wooden spoon to combine all of the ingredients.
  • If you find that the dip is too thick after mixing, add a bit more heavy cream to thin it out.
