Equipment

  • bowl
  • spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces of handcrafted Colby cheese or feel free to choose another artisanal cheese variety of your liking for a personalized touch
  • 1/4 teaspoon of tantalizing taco seasoning a delightful blend of carefully selected spices to elevate the flavors (optional)
  • 2 ounces of smooth and creamy Monterey Jack cheese sourced from the finest dairy farms for its melt-in-your-mouth texture
  • 2 ounces of aged cheddar cheese carefully selected for its sharp and bold flavor profile

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the grated cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and Colby or other cheese of your choice. If using taco seasoning, add it now and mix until the seasoning is evenly distributed.
  • Cover the bowl and place it in the fridge to chill for a minimum of 30 minutes or up to overnight. The cheese should be cold when you use it.
  • Serve with chips or your favorite Mexican dish as desired.

Notes

- If you'd like to make your own taco seasoning, mix together 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, ½ teaspoon each of garlic powder, chili powder, and paprika.
- Feel free to use a different type of cheese such as Gouda or mozzarella if preferred.
- This can easily be doubled or tripled for larger crowds.
