Instructions
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low-medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and black pepper to the pan and stir until fragrant but not browned (about 1 minute).
Add the Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce to the pan and increase heat to medium-high.
Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in red pepper flakes (if using). Let cool before serving or transferring to an airtight container for storage.
Notes
If you don’t have Worcestershire sauce, you can substitute it with a mixture of balsamic vinegar and tamari.
If you want a spicier version of the Original Zip Sauce, add more red pepper flakes or use a hotter variety.
Add some freshly chopped herbs like parsley or cilantro for an extra fresh flavor.
