In a large pot over medium heat, add the ground beef then cook until it is fully browned, stirring occasionally. Once cooked through, drain the fat then set aside.
Return the pot to medium heat and add the olive oil. Once hot, add in the onion and garlic then sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper then stir to combine. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add in the cooked ground beef then stir to combine. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
Add the cooked pasta to the pot with the sauce & cheese then stir to combine. Heat through for 2-3 minutes.
Serve the Outback Walhalla pasta with grated Parmesan cheese and crusty bread, if desired.
