Equipment

  • Medium size bowls
  • Spatula
  • Spoons

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces of velvety cream cheese lending a luxurious and creamy texture.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of fragrant vanilla extract infusing a subtle hint of warmth and sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup of smooth and tangy sour cream adding a creamy and tangy element.
  • 1/2 cup of rich and caramel-like brown sugar providing a decadent sweetness.
  • 1 pound of fresh green grapes bursting with crisp juiciness.
  • 1 pound of luscious red grapes offering a delightful balance of sweetness and tartness.

Optional ingredients:

  • A generous sprinkle of chopped nuts such as pecans or walnuts, for added crunch and a nutty flavor profile.
  • A handful of mini marshmallows imparting a delightful softness and a touch of sweetness.

Instructions

  • Begin your recipe by washing and drying green grapes and red grapes. In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, brown sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla extract.
  • Gently fold in grapes until they are evenly coated with the mixture. Spread out the grape salad onto a large serving plate or bowl.
  • You should cover the mixture and refrigerate for approximately 1 hour. After that, take the salad out of the fridge and top it with mini marshmallows or chopped nuts, such as pecans or walnuts. Serve cold and enjoy.

Notes

  • Make sure to wash and dry the grapes, as this will help get rid of any dirt or bacteria. This way, the grapes will stay fresh and the salad will have a better flavor.
  • Make sure to mix together the sour cream, cream cheese, and brown sugar until it forms a smooth mixture.
  • Fold the grapes into the mixture gently, so that they don’t get broken or crushed.
  • You can also add some mini marshmallows and chopped nuts such as pecans or walnuts to the cream mixture for extra flavor.
