Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s Hot Sauce
  • 6 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 6 tsp white vinegar
  • A few drops of Tabasco or other hot sauce

Instructions

  • Start by melting the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Keep an eye on it and stir occasionally until fully melted.
  • Next, add the Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, Frank’s Hot Sauce, garlic powder, and white vinegar to the melted butter. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  • Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce come to a gentle simmer. Stir occasionally for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together and the sauce to thicken.
  • For an extra kick of heat, feel free to add in a few drops of your favorite hot sauce like Tabasco or Sriracha.
  • Once the sauce is done, it’s time to toss in your cooked chicken wings and coat them evenly with the delectable sauce. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a milder wing sauce, decrease the amount of cayenne pepper or leave out the hot sauce.
  • Make sure to keep an eye on the butter when melting to prevent it from burning.
  • The longer you let the sauce simmer, the thicker it will become. Adjust cooking time according to your desired consistency.
  • This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to make a larger batch of wing sauce.
