  • 1/4 cup peanut oil or olive oil
  • 3 tsp Sichuan peppercorns

Instructions

  • Let them cool before grinding into a powder using a spice grinder or mortar and pestle.
  • Heat your choice of oil in the same pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add the ground Szechuan peppercorns to the hot oil and let them fry until they become fragrant and turn brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and let cool before using this delicious Szechuan Peppercorn Oil!
