Equipment

  • Large shaker
  • martini glasses
  • spoon etc.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces of fresh lime juice 1 part, providing a zingy and tangy element to the cocktail. The fresh lime juice adds a refreshing and acidic balance that cuts through the sweetness and enhances the overall flavor profile.
  • 6 ounces of pomegranate juice 2 parts, infusing the cocktail with a vibrant and luscious fruity flavor. The pomegranate juice adds a tangy and slightly sweet taste that is both refreshing and indulgent.
  • Tangerine twists , serving as a vibrant and aromatic garnish for the cocktail. The tangerine or orange twists release their natural oils, infusing the drink with a citrusy aroma that enhances the sensory experience and adds a touch of elegance to the presentation.
  • 3 ounces of Triple Sec 1 part - Cointreau can be substituted, adding a bright and citrusy note to the cocktail. The Triple Sec contributes a zesty and aromatic essence that complements the other ingredients and adds depth to the drink.
  • 12 ounces of vodka 4 parts, bringing a smooth and potent kick to the cocktail. The vodka serves as the backbone of the drink, providing a clean and neutral base that allows the other flavors to shine.
  • Raki for misting , offering a unique and exotic touch to the cocktail. The misting of Raki (or its substitutes) imparts a delicate and fragrant anise flavor that lingers on the palate, adding complexity and intrigue to the drink.

Instructions

  • Chill the martini glasses by filling them with ice cubes and water. In a large shaker, add vodka, triple sec, lime juice, and pomegranate juice.
Shake well until the ingredients are blended together.
  • Strain the mixture into two chilled martini glasses. Mist raki on top of the drinks. Serve with tangerine twists and enjoy!

Notes

  • Always use freshly squeezed lime juice for the best flavor.
  • Make sure to chill your martini glasses before serving so that the drink stays cold and refreshing.
  • For even more flavor, try adding a splash of orange juice or cranberry juice to the cocktail.
  • If you don’t have raki on hand, you can substitute with ouzo or aveze.
