Gather the necessary ingredients.
Heat a skillet on medium-high heat and add two tablespoons of olive oil. Once hot, season the steak with salt and pepper to taste before adding it to the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through then set aside on a plate to rest.
Add the vegetables to the same skillet. Saute for 5 minutes until they begin to soften and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili flakes.
Simmer a mixture of red quinoa and sesame brown rice in two cups of water for 15 minutes on low heat or until fully cooked.
Assemble the steak bowl by adding 1/2 cup of cooked grains to each bowl. Top with vegetables and sliced steak seasoned with soya sauce then garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
