Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Fresh jumbo shrimp
  • 4 Minced garlic cloves
  • 4 Tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 Cup White wine
  • 1/8 Tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped parsley

Instructions

  • To start, bring a pot of water to boil and carefully devein your shrimp. Once boiling, add the shrimp to the pot and allow them to cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Next, melt some butter in a skillet over medium-high heat before adding minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until fragrant, then pour in white wine and season with salt and pepper. Let the ingredients simmer for 4 minutes before adding in freshly chopped parsley.
  • Give the mixture a final stir and cook for an additional minute, then you're ready to plate - serve your flavorful shrimp dish alongside any side of your choice.

Notes

  • Use fresh jumbo shrimp for best results
  • Make sure not to overcook the shrimp as they can become tough if cooked too long
  • For an extra kick, add red pepper flakes when sautéing the garlic
  • If you don’t want to use white wine, chicken broth can be substituted as a healthier alternative
