  • 2 tbsp Sweet Pickle Relish
  • 3 tbsp white Onions, diced
  • 1 cup Creamy Mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp minced Carrots


  • In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, relish and sugar. Stir until everything is fully incorporated.
  • Add the diced onions, carrots and any additional ingredients you’d like to use (such as horseradish or lemon juice). Stir until everything is mixed together.
  • Place the tartar sauce in the refrigerator for at least an hour, so the flavors can combine.
  • Serve with your favorite seafood dishes and enjoy!


– You can easily double or triple this tartar sauce recipe to make a bigger batch. 
– If you want a sweeter tartar sauce, add an extra tablespoon of sugar. 
– You can also use dill relish instead of sweet pickle relish for a different flavor. 
– For a spicier version, add a teaspoon of horseradish to the mix. 
– Make sure to chill your tartar sauce before serving! This will help it thicken and deepen in flavor as the ingredients meld together.
