Ingredients

  • 1/2 tablespoon of cocoa powder infusing a rich and decadent chocolate flavor to the dough
  • 1 tablespoon of milk adding a touch of moisture and richness to the dough
  • 1 pinch of salt enhancing the overall flavors and balancing the sweetness
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter at room temperature providing a creamy and luxurious base for the cookies
  • 1 cup of almond flour adding a nutty and delicate taste to the cookies
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder ensuring a light and fluffy texture in the cookies
  • 3/4 cup of powdered sugar bringing a delicate sweetness and light texture to the cookies

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Slowly add in the milk while beating. Sift together the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt into the creamed mixture and mix until evenly combined.
  • Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into circles with a cookie cutter or glass.
  • Place the cookies onto an ungreased baking sheet, leaving enough space between each one.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.

Notes

– For crispier cookies, bake for an additional few minutes.
– If you prefer chewy cookies, reduce the baking time by a few minutes.
– Adding some crushed nuts or chocolate chips to the dough can add extra flavor and texture.
