  • 1 Large Bowl
  • 1 Mixer
  • 1 Oven
  • 1 Parchment paper
  • 1 Cooke scoop
  • 1 Spatula

  • 2 cups (400 grams) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (200 grams) dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup (150 grams) softened salted butter
  • 1/2 cup (100 grams) granulated sugar
  • 2 cups (400 grams) chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (200 grams) nuts Optional
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp salt

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the brown sugar, granulated sugar and salted butter. Beat using a mixer until it is smooth and creamy.
  • Now, add in the eggs and vanilla extract. Beat at medium speed until well combined.
  • Next, add the baking soda and salt. Slowly mix until everything is well combined, and then add flour gradually and beat at a low speed until everything is mixed in.
  • Now, mix the chocolate chips and nuts with a spoon or spatula into the batter. Nuts are the optional ingredient, but we think it gives the cookies a nice crunch.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and then drop tablespoons of batter onto the sheet using a cookie scoop. Make sure to leave at least 2 inches of space between each cookie, as they will spread during baking.
  • Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 12 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden brown. Do not over bake them!
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving.
  • Now, it’s time to enjoy this delicious Kirkland chocolate chip cookie! You can eat them immediately or store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

Storing: You can store these cookies in an airtight container at room temperature. They will stay fresh this way for up to a week.
Texture: If you want them soft and chewy, then we recommend cooking them for about 12 minutes. But, if you prefer a crunchier cookie, then cook them for an additional minute or two. Just be careful not to overcook them!
