Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups hot boiling water 23.4 fl oz
  • 2 tablespoons pure honey 0.5 tablespoon each glass
  • 6 tablespoons grass jelly powder 1.85 oz, using half of 3.7 oz
  • 1 cup ice cubes 0.25 cup each glass
  • 1 cup soy milk or milk 0.25 cup each glass

Instructions

  • Prepare Grass Jelly Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the hot boiling water and grass jelly powder. Stir well until the powder is completely dissolved. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  • Sweeten with Honey: Add 2 tablespoons of honey to the grass jelly mixture. Adjust the sweetness to your liking, adding more or less honey if desired. Stir until the honey is fully incorporated.
  • Pour into Glasses: Divide the grass jelly mixture evenly among four glasses.
  • Add Ice Cubes: Place ice cubes into each glass. The ice will add a refreshing chill to the drink.
  • Pour Soy Milk or Milk: Pour 1/4 cup of soy milk or regular milk into each glass. The creamy texture will balance the flavors of the grass jelly.
  • Stir Gently: Gently stir the contents of each glass to combine the grass jelly mixture, honey, ice, and milk.
  • Serve Immediately: Serve the Asian Grass Jelly Drink immediately while it’s cold. The contrast between the chilled drink and the sweet, herbal flavor of grass jelly is delightful.
  • Enjoy: Sip and enjoy the unique and refreshing taste of this Asian grass jelly drink! Adjust the sweetness or milk ratio according to your preference.

Notes

  • Use fresh fruit juices for the best flavor.
  • If you want a thicker texture, use more jellies.
  • For a lighter flavor, use less tea.
  • For a stronger flavor, use more tea.
  • If the drink is too tart, add a small amount of your favorite sweetener.
  • Add a few ice cubes to the drink for a refreshing twist.
