Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • Baking & spices
  • 4.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 2 1/4 tbsp Yeast, instant dry

Oils & vinegars

  • 1/3 cup Vegetable oil

Dairy

  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Nonfat dry milk, powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a Bundt pan and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the eggs, butter, oil, coconut milk and honey until well blended.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes or until it is smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Punch down the dough and knead for a few minutes.
  • Shape the dough into a ball and place it in the greased Bundt pan. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for another 45 minutes or until doubled in size.
  • Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before inverting onto a plate to serve.

Notes

  • If you do not have a Bundt pan, you can shape the dough into 2 round loaves and bake in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • For extra flavor, add your favorite nuts or dried fruits to the dough before shaping into the Bundt pan.
  • To give the top of the bread an even golden color, brush with an egg wash just before baking.
