Equipment

  • paper towel
  • pan & spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 delectable 4-ounce salmon steak with its enticing skin or a 4-ounce salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoons of premium all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 stick 2 tablespoons of rich, unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
  • A handful of vibrant green, fresh lettuce leaves and a few slices of ripe, juicy tomatoes for garnish
  • 1/2 teaspoon of exquisite kosher salt adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fragrant extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  • Begin by patting the salmon steak dry with a clean paper towel. Ensure both sides are completely dry before proceeding. Next, evenly season the salmon with a pinch of salt and some freshly ground black pepper, gently pressing them onto the fish for maximum flavor absorption.
  • In a heated pan over medium-high heat, add a knob of butter and a drizzle of fragrant olive oil. Once the butter has melted, carefully place the salmon into the pan, skin side down. Allow it to cook for 2-3 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  • Using a spatula, gently flip the salmon over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. The salmon should be firm to the touch, indicating that it is cooked through.
  • Once done, remove the salmon from the pan and place it on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil. Plate the dish by placing the salmon on a bed of fresh lettuce leaves and sliced tomatoes for added color and freshness. Serve hot and enjoy your delectable Botw Salmon Manure!

Notes

  • When choosing salmon, look for a piece that is bright in color with firm flesh. This will ensure you’re getting a fresh and high-quality piece of fish.
  • Be careful not to overcook the salmon, as it can become dry and tough. Use a meat thermometer to check if the internal temperature has reached 145°F (63°C).
  • For added flavor, you can marinate the salmon in your favorite herb and spice blend before cooking.
