Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Place the chicken chunks in a large bowl and season with salt and pepper. Add the flour and mix until all of the pieces are evenly coated.
Heat a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add enough olive oil to coat the bottom of the skillet. When the oil is hot, add the chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
Then, remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. Add the onion, bell pepper, garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes to the same skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes then add white wine & chicken broth and Simmer for a few minutes.
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Dot with butter.
Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Top with chopped basil before serving.
