Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of kosher salt the culinary cornerstone for perfect balance
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper the dark symphony of spice
  • 2 tablespoons of Gravy Master a velvety elixir of rich flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder the whisper of aromatic allure
  • 2 cups of clear water the essence of life for culinary alchemy
  • 6 tablespoons of artisanal all-purpose flour/Bread flour the foundation for a silky texture
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder the subtle aromatic dance in this culinary masterpiece

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the salt, Gravy Master, pepper, garlic powder, and water. Bring to a gentle simmer on medium heat.
  • Whisk in the flour until completely incorporated and cook for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
  • Add in the onion powder and stir until blended.
  • Take off the heat and serve hot over your preferred dishes.

Notes

  • If you want an extra kick of flavor add a pinch of cayenne pepper or paprika to the mix.
  • For added color and texture, top with chopped fresh herbs like parsley, basil, or oregano.
  • Don’t overcook the gravy, as it will become too thick and may ruin the flavor.
