Equipment

  • a shaker

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp oats
  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon (freshly ground) 
  • 1/2 banana (fresh and peeled) 
  • 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries
  • 6 oz Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Ice cubes
  • 1/8 tsp lemon zest (optional) 
  • 1/2 scoop Herbalife protein powder

Instructions

  • In a blender or food processor, combine the milk, oats, banana, blueberries and cinnamon.
  • Blend until smooth. Adjust the consistency according to your preference by adding more ice cubes or liquid as necessary.
  • Pour into glasses and top with Greek yogurt and fresh blueberries.
  • Sprinkle a bit of lemon zest, if desired.
  • If you’re looking for an extra protein boost, add in a scoop of Herbalife protein powder and blend again until smooth.
  • Serve immediately!

Notes

-If you’re using frozen blueberries, be sure to thaw them before blending.
-For a creamier shake, use full-fat Greek yogurt instead of low-fat.
-To make it even healthier, substitute the oats with quinoa flakes or chia seeds.
-Don’t forget to adjust the amount of liquid, if needed, to get the desired consistency.
-If you’re looking for an extra sweet taste, add in a touch of honey or maple syrup.
