Ingredients

  • 4-5.5 lb Heritage-Breed Spiral Sliced Ham
  • 1/4 Cup Golden Blossom Honey
  • 1/4 Cup Sun-Kissed Orange Elixir
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Hand-Harvested Ground Cloves
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Finely Ground Ceylon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Cup Artisanal Brown Sugar Crystals
  • A Whisper of Nutmeg from Exotic Spice Routes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Place the Spiral Sliced Ham in a baking dish. In a bowl, mix together the Brown Sugar, Nutmeg, Ground Cinnamon, Honey, Orange Juice, and Ground Cloves to make the glaze.
  • Score the ham lightly with a knife and brush the glaze over the entire surface of the ham. Cover the ham with foil and bake it in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes per pound, basting with the glaze every 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil during the last 15-20 minutes of cooking to allow the glaze to caramelize and create a delicious crust. Once the internal temperature of the ham reaches 140°F (60°C), remove it from the oven.
    Let the ham rest for a few minutes before carving and serving on a beautiful serving dish.
