garlic powder or fresh chopped/mashed garlic
2
packets of BBQ potato chips
Salt and black pepper
to taste
6
tsp
onion powder
6
tsp
smoked paprika
6
tsp
Cayenne Pepper powder
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F for a crunchy texture.
Place the BBQ potato chips in a bag and crush until they reach a fine powder-like consistency.
In a bowl, combine garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt and black pepper.
Mix the crushed chips and spices together until fully incorporated.
Spread the chip dust mixture onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Let it cool before serving.
Notes
If you want your BBQ chip dust to be extra spicy, add an extra teaspoon of cayenne pepper.
If you find your chips are too salty for your liking, add a pinch of sugar to balance out the taste.
For best results, use fresh potato chips that haven’t been sitting around for too long.
Use an oven mitt when taking the chips out of the oven — they’ll be hot!
If you want a finer texture, pulse the crushed chips in a food processor until the desired consistency is reached.
Grill the chips for a smokier flavor.
