Ingredients

  • 1/2 piece of apple preferably Fuji, offering a crisp and slightly sweet flavor to balance the earthiness of kale.
  • 1/2 piece of lemon peeled, providing a zesty and tangy kick to the smoothie.
  • 1 cup of kale packed with vitamins and minerals, providing a vibrant and nutrient-rich leafy green base for the smoothie.
  • 1/2 cup of water adding hydration and helping to blend the ingredients smoothly.

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients.
  • Wash and chop the kale into small pieces.
  • Peel and chop the apple.
  • Peel and slice the lemon.
  • Place all these ingredients in a blender or food processor.
  • Add water and blend until you get a smooth consistency.
  • Add the ice cubes and blend for a few more seconds.
  • Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

– If using frozen fruit, thaw it before blending to prevent the drink from becoming too icy.
