Equipment

  • Jar or glass or pitcher

Ingredients

  • 2 lemons sliced
  • 2 oranges sliced
  • 4 peaches sliced
  • 1 cup orange liqueur
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 2 bottles of red wine
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 2 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 2- star anise
  • 1 cup simple syrup
  • 2 cups brandy
  • 1 cup peach nectar

Instructions

  • Begin by washing and slicing the lemons, oranges, and peaches into thin slices. Make sure to use fresh and ripe fruits for maximum flavor.
  • In a large pitcher or jar, pour in the orange liqueur and brandy over the sliced fruits. This will infuse the fruit with a subtle sweetness and an extra layer of depth.
  • Use a muddler or wooden spoon to gently crush the fruits, releasing their juices and flavors into the mixture. This step is essential to ensure that every sip of your sangria is filled with fruity goodness.
  • Next, add the cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and simple syrup to the pitcher. These aromatic spices will add warmth and complexity to the drink.
  • Give everything a good stir and cover the pitcher or jar with a lid or plastic wrap. Place it in the refrigerator for at least an hour, or up to 8 hours, allowing all the ingredients to infuse together.
  • Before serving, add two bottles of your preferred red wine and peach nectar to the pitcher. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
  • To serve, fill glasses with ice and pour the sangria over it. The ice will keep your drink chilled without diluting its flavor. For an extra touch of sweetness and fruity goodness, garnish each glass with fresh berries and sliced peaches.

Notes

  • Use fresh and ripe fruits for maximum flavor. You can also use frozen fruits if they are not in season.
  • Let the sangria sit for at least an hour before serving to allow all the flavors to infuse together.
  • You can adjust the sweetness of the sangria by adding more or less simple syrup.
