Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Make a marinade mixture using salt, garlic powder, black pepper and 1 teaspoon of water.
Apply it to the roast. Rub the roast with the spices, making sure to cover it completely.
Place roast in a shallow roasting pan and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
Roast for 90 minutes or until the roast’s internal temperature registers 130-135 degrees F on a meat thermometer.
Remove the roast from the oven, and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Slice the roast and serve with your favorite sides!
