Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the beef and onion until the beef is browned; drain off any excess fat from the pan. Add Italian seasoning, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce and mushrooms; reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes; finish off with a drizzle of honey.
Spread the beef mixture across the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish and layer on top with spinach leaves, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese. Pour beaten eggs over all of the ingredients evenly.
Place in preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is heated through. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before cutting into generous squares for serving.
