Peel and dice the pears. Set aside. Dice the onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper. Set aside.
Combine the diced pears, onion, peppers, vinegar, sugar, salt, pickling spice, and turmeric in a large pot.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Carefully transfer the relish mixture to a blender and blend until desired consistency is reached.
Fill sterilized jars with the relish mixture and seal tightly. Place in the refrigerator for up to one month.
