Cut the potatoes into pieces, making sure that they are all roughly the same size. Wash them before adding them to boiling water in a saucepan. Add some garlic cloves and salt to taste.
Bring the potatoes to a boil, which will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Remove them from the heat only once you can pierce them easily with a fork.
Once you finish boiling potatoes, remove them from the water. Keep tossing them to remove the extra water.
Take a potato masher and mash all the boiled potatoes and garlic in the same saucepan. Make sure the saucepan comes to normal temperature. Otherwise, you might burn yourself.
Add mashed potatoes to a whisk. Now, add butter, heavy cream, milk, and olive oil. You can add more salt if necessary.
Whip the ingredients together until they form a smooth, creamy texture. This will take approximately five minutes.
Transfer mashed potatoes to a bowl. Sprinkle white pepper.
