Ingredients

  • 1/2 tablespoon of tangy low-fat Greek yogurt providing a refreshing and tangy twist

Instructions

  • Start preparing the chicken, place it into a large bowl, and season with paprika, garlic powder, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Mix everything together with a spoon or your hands until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Heat some oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot enough, add the chicken and cook until it changes its color to a golden brown. Set aside when done and let it cool.
  • In the same bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard. Mix everything together with a spoon or your hands until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Cut the chicken into small cubes and add it to the bowl with the mayonnaise mixture. Add raisins or dried cranberries, chopped green apple, lettuce, celery stalks, green onion, red onion, and parsley. Mix everything together until everything is well combined.
  • Finally, add some toasted almonds and mix until evenly distributed. Place in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.

  • You can use different types of nuts like walnuts, pecans, or cashews for added texture.
  • Use fresh herbs such as thyme, oregano, and basil for more flavor.
  • If you don't have Greek yogurt on hand, you can substitute it with sour cream.
