  • 1/4 lb shell off and deveined Shrimp
  • 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 sprigs of Thyme
  • 2 Salmon filets
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 diced garlic cloves
  • 3 tsp Pure Honey
  • 1/2 Lemon sliced
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 3 tsp Cajun seasoning

  • In a large skillet, heat up the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add in the garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the pan and season with cajun seasoning. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the shrimp is lightly browned and cooked through.
  • Add the salmon filets to the pan and top with lemon slices, thyme sprigs, and honey. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5-6 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite sides.

Notes

-If you don’t have access to fresh salmon, frozen will work as well. Just make sure it is thawed before cooking.
-When pan frying the salmon and shrimp, be sure not to overcrowd the pan so that everything cooks evenly.
-You can also substitute any of your favorite seafood in place of the salmon or shrimp if desired.
