  • 12 ears fresh corn husks removed
  • 1 cup buttermilk or whole milk
  • 3 tsp unsalted butter, softened
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare the corn by removing the husks and silk from each ear of corn, then rinse them with cold water to clean off any dirt or debris.
  • To cook the corn, heat a large pot on medium-high and add 1 cup of milk and 3 tsp of butter. Simmer until it reaches a gentle boil, then add the corn. Reduce heat to medium low and cook for 10 minutes, or until it’s tender.
