In a medium-sized pot, melt the butter over low heat. Once the butter is melted, add in the flour and whisk together until it forms a paste.
Allow the butter and flour mixture to cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently. Next, slowly add in the whipping cream while continuously whisking until the mixture is smooth.
Add the salt, sugar, and white pepper to the cream mixture and stir until it’s combined.
Next, add in the thawed frozen kernel corn and continue to cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes or until the creamed corn reaches your desired consistency.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until it is incorporated. Serve immediately!
