Equipment

  • Grill or oven

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Prepare the sauce by combining all of the ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and stirring until everything is evenly mixed.
  • Lay out four large sheets of aluminum foil, each about double as wide as your ribs. Place one half of the ribs on each sheet of foil, then pour about 1/4 cup of the prepared sauce over each half of the ribs.
  • Fold up the aluminum foil tightly around the ribs. Place all four packets onto a baking sheet and bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Remove from the oven once done, and carefully open one packet to check doneness. The ribs should be very tender and the meat should easily pull away from the bones.
  • If desired, brush additional sauce over the ribs before serving.

Notes

  • You can easily double or triple the recipe for larger quantities if needed.
  • If you want to add more spiciness to the ribs, add more of the Tabasco sauce.
  • To reduce spiciness, decrease or omit the Tabasco sauce.
  • For extra flavor and color, char the ribs over an open flame before baking.
