Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of Kosher Salt harvested from pristine salt flats
  • 4 tablespoons of artisanal Sweet Chili Sauce a delightful balance of sweet and heat
  • 1/2 cup 60g of golden Panko Breadcrumbs, a crispy coating for culinary perfection
  • 2 large Eggs the golden orbs from contented free-range hens
  • 2 pounds of Lean Ground Chicken or Turkey a savory canvas for the dish
  • 2 teaspoons of Chili Powder a fiery blend for a culinary adventure
  • 1/2 cup of luscious Sweet Chili Sauce an additional layer of flavor
  • 2 teaspoons of aromatic Ground Ginger a fragrant touch from distant spice lands
  • 2 ounces of Shredded Parmesan Cheese a nutty and aged delight
  • 2 teaspoons of Garlic Powder a fragrant whisper for savory depth

Instructions

  • Begin by preparing the meatball mixture. To do this, combine ground chicken, sweet chili sauce, panko breadcrumbs, eggs, ground ginger, chili powder, parmesan cheese, and garlic powder in a large mixing bowl. Gently mix all the ingredients together until they are well incorporated.
  • Next, roll the mixture into small balls using approximately 2 tablespoons of the mixture for each meatball. Place them on a plate or baking sheet.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and lightly coat it with oil. Once heated, add the meatballs to the skillet, making sure they have enough space between them. Cook for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until they are evenly browned and cooked through.
  • Once the meatballs are fully cooked, remove them from the skillet and transfer them to a serving dish.

Notes

  • These meatballs can also be baked in the oven at 375°F for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • To add spiciness to the meatballs, mix in some crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper.
  • For extra flavor, replace the sweet chili sauce with your favorite BBQ sauce or teriyaki sauce.
